THE MAXIMUM OUTDOOR
EXPERIENCE
WITH MINIMAL MEANS
Andi and Heidi, the Exped founders, spent 9 months in the Canadian wilderness back in 1981 living off the land with minimal means. That experience has had its share in bringing Exped to where it stands today.
From drybags and rucksacks to the best sleeping mats on the market, Exped focus on giving you the ultimate protection and comfort when exploring the great outdoors.
MATS
A properly insulated sleeping mat is just as important as a sleeping bag! And after all, you spend one third of your time sleeping during your wildest adventures, recovering and preparing to take on the other two thirds. We've designed mats for every user and condition, which bring the comfort of home into the outdoors. For 20 years, Exped mats have revolutionized the outdoor industry with countless innovations and an eye for detail.
STORAGE
There is nothing more annoying than a waterproof drybag that accumulates moisture on the inside instead of keeping it out. This is why no matter how simple an Exped drybag may seem, every detail is designed with care and manufactured with quality and durability in mind.
Exped stuff sacks are manufactured with the best lightweight fabrics and seam tapes, perfect workmanship and feature all the details.
SUSTAINABILITY
We are on a perpetual search for new materials that offer a balance between sustainability and performance for our products. We must find new alternatives and apply them where needed in order to create long lasting products that offer enduring performance.
Exped products are exclusively manufactured by highly specialized companies whose factories are industry leaders with the highest levels of workforce and management experience.
All Exped packaging is reduced to a minimum and is made of cardboard free of glue. This reduces the amount of resources needed, conserves our air as the used packaging does not need to be incinerated and reduces the amount of plastics that contaminate our oceans.
Exped and the entire supply chain involved are certified under the "Responsible Down Standard" (RDS). RDS dictates that down sourcing originates from producers that do not live-pluck or force-feed the birds.
